Earlier this year S Nicholson and Sons were delighted to be selected to appear in the Parliamentary Review. The Parliamentary Review is a publication that includes political commentary from leading journalists, along with discussion on business best practice from leaders across different sectors, with the aim of raising professional standards in different industries across the UK. Each year the release of The Parliamentary Review is marked with a reception at the Palace of Westminster for all the best practice representatives who participate in the publication.
We were honoured to be the only business outside of London to be invited, in recognition of the bespoke work we offer. This work includes decorating services completed with standout quality of the very highest level. Our main client base compromises of people looking for the type of artistry rarely found anywhere else. Ever since we were first selected, we had been looking forward to attending the highly anticipated annual review of the year in Westminster, London.
This review of the year, otherwise known as the Parliamentary Review Gala, is held every year and attended by influential leaders in the world of business, sports, politics and a huge range of other fields. Last year’s gala attendees included England Rugby Union Coach Eddie Jones, Radio 2 presenter Jeremy Vine, former Prime Minister Tony Blair and Co-Chair of the review Lord Blunkett. Attending this event in the historical Palace of Westminster was an absolute honour and a real landmark in the journey of S Nicholson and Sons.
Our Managing Director, Stephen Nicholson was invited to speak in front of the many attendees about our business. Stephen spent time explaining our main values and the trials and tribulations of growing an ambitious business!
Once again, we would like to say how much of an honour it was to be included in the Parliamentary Review and to attend this prestigious once in a lifetime event.
